This project will run for seven years, what will happen to the restored land once the project is finished?

One of the main objectives of LIFE Nature programmes is to ensure the long-term conservation of the habitats and species targeted. An After LIFE Plan must therefore be drawn up at the end of each project to detail the actions to be pursued in the following years and to determine the ideal management of the sites. The plan must therefore define the actions to be carried out, as well as those responsible for them and their sources of funding. In all cases, the restored plots will benefit from long-term legal protection: nature reserve status.
