What constraints are involved in managing a nature reserve plot?

These constraints can vary from one plot to another, depending on the ecosystems and species we want to protect. But generally, in the agreements we sign with farmers, we take up the constraints defined by the Walloon Region and Natagriwal for the upkeep of meadows of high biological value.

These include not amending or ploughing the soil, and mowing or grazing the land only once the majority of the flowers present have been able to produce seeds and guarantee their survival the following year (generally at the beginning of July).
